On the back of a Reader's Digest, I see an advertisement for an insurance company. In the picture, is a 6 year old boy dressed like a super hero with a quote from him, "Life insurance makes you indestructible". I am pretty sure he didn't come up with those words himself. In any case, my first thought upon seeing that is no there is only one thing that makes us "indestructible" and that is our faith in Jesus. If this were an ad about heaven and God, it could be a picture of any believer without any super hero outfit but just ourselves and the quote could be "Life with Jesus makes you eternal".
Nothing and nobody can keep us from our eternal home with Jesus in heaven. This life is only a stepping stone to the life that was really meant for us so no have no fear and just live like there is no tomorrow.
Psalm 68:19-20 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.
