365 Days of Spirit-Filled Fruits Challenge-Day 132

Oh Lord, you are so amazing! To you I give myself. I woke up this morning from a dream. I haven’t dreamed for the last couple weeks because I have not gone through the sleep cycle to get to the point of dreaming. I also realized I slept all night long without waking once to go to the bathroom. I am so in awe of my God, I want to shout and sing and dance. God brought me through it, healed me and showed me that he is in control of all things and I have to let him have them. I feel renewed and it is all because of Him.

365 Days of Spirit-Filled Fruits Challenge-Day 96

The story of Joseph is one of my favorites for many reasons but especially to show that God’s purpose is working through everything, the good, the bad and the ugly. Joseph was thrown in a pit, sold by his brothers as a slave, shipped off to a foreign country and accused of attempted rape and thrown in jail. But he was in a place where he could use the gift God gave him with his dreams that would end up helping the Pharaoh and the whole nation of Egypt and put him in a place to help and forgive his brothers. Joseph had learned throughout his tribulations that no matter what his brothers intended that God intended it for good. This belief is what helped Joseph in forgiving his brothers. The evil in the world is certainly not good but God will use it for his good purpose of bringing more souls to salvation and back in relationship with him. If we have this belief in our hearts of the goodness of God and his purpose than we too will be able to forgive which is the way to gaining freedom and peace. God is good.

Genesis 50:19-20  But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

365 Days of Praise Challenge-Day 195

It's been on my mind and heart where this ministry is going as you already know. After lots of thought and prayer and discussing this with my hubbie, I am at peace with what I now know is the correct mindset. I joined the business mastermind group in January to be in a group that would be helpful in giving me ideas, encouragement and guidance. It did do that but I have also found that it made me think of this ministry more as a business and how to generate money. I have looked at it from all angles and find it's just not possible to do enough workshops to make the kind of money I am making at my current job. My dream of doing my scrapbooking as a business and having it be my full-time job is not feasible. This is a ministry to help women and that's what it will be. Where God takes it, I will follow. Thanks to the Lord for giving my husband the words of encouragement, wisdom and guidance that I needed to steer my course where God wants it to be.
Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

365 Days of Praise Challenge-Day 158

I am still trying to wake up and feeling pretty out of it. It must have been that essential oil I put on last night called Serenity. I was having the best dream with romance, car chases and excitement. It was like I was in a movie. It took my daughter knocking at the door to wake me up and my hubbie says "that must have been some dream; you were making all kinds of noises." I am going to have to tell him about the super cool convertable black mustang I got to drive fast in the dream. I would love to go back to bed but I must go get caffinated and be off to work. Thank you Lord for the stress-releasing power a dream can bring and for caffiene.
