Photo Quaility Shopping Comparisons
I came across this article and found it very interesting after my recent prints I had done at Walmart. I procrastinated too long for a couple of Christmas presents and quickly did a layout in Studio J and bought just the jpeg so I could print it out in a smaller version. I put and sized the jpeg images onto a full page in publishing program and saved the whole thing as a jpeg image. I had 8x10 prints made at Walmart in an hour. As I was cutting the Studio J portion out of the print to a 6x6 size, I realized how dark the photos came out. I went and looked at the jpeg images on my computer and could definitely see how distorted in color they came out. I didn't have time to shop around for better print quality but it was set in my mind at that point that I needed to check into and compare. I found this article on photo print comparisons done out in Oakland, CA at 7 different photo printing places, including two on-line photo printing websites. It was very interesting to see how the photos all came out. Please view the article yourself and see the photos and the price comparisons, ect. Looks like Costco was the big winner for the Bay Area in terms of price and quality so I will try there next with my photos. See the link in the Resources section on the right and educate yourself on getting quality photos prints.

365 Days of Praise Challenge-Day 14
50 more weeks of praise to go! I am thanking God to day for the opportunities he pretty much plants in my lap. I did a craft fair this weekend and it was starting off to be very discouraging. I have never done very well at craft fairs in selling much and afterwards have always thought why bother but I decided to do one because of my change to Close to My Heart and my love and belief in their products especially Studio J, the on-line digital scrapbooking program that has made my dream of starting a faithbooking ministry a reality. So, I knew I was probably not going to sell much especially Studio J in the fast-paced atmosphere of a craft fair but was hoping to make some good connections. I finally got my groove and started making book marks and giving them to anyone that stopped at my booth to look. This really has turned out to be a good ice breaker and I got some good connections. So I am thanking God for putting people in my path that I can share faithbooking, Studio J and scrapbooking with and pray that God will give me the courage and confidence and help me get out of my comfort zone and be successful. Are you connecting to whom God puts in your path? Faithbooking is an easy way to share your faith. If you have yet to try it or even scrapbooking, I would encourage you to start a free account with Studio J and see how easy it is to put together a scrapbook layout that applies to your faith. See my examples posted here and feel free to ask me any questions about Studio J or faithbooking. Access Studio J here: www.ctmh.com/janinerobertson

Faith to life connections are everywhere!
It really is amazing how many connections I am finding with my faith to my life since I began this committed journey with faithbooking. Part of this is the committed part. It has to be something you work into the time you have each week. With the sermon series layouts I have been doing, I take notes during the sermon, than on Monday I will reveiw those notes and write my own thoughts and feelings and any photo ideas that come to me. Wednesday we meet at the church for our small group time so after that I can apply any new thoughts and feelings to my notes but by than I am pretty well sure on what I am going to do with my layout so I get the photos found and downloaded to Studio J so I can work on it at work on my breaks and hopefully by the next Sunday I am ready to start it all over again. I dropped the ball this last week because of my shoulder pain mostly and lots of stuff going on but I did get my notes done and so now it's just a matter of getting my photos ready to go and doing the layout so why am I here... off I go to get into the book of Matthew.
