365 Days of Spirit-Filled Fruits Challenge-Day 198

Whether it is a hurricane, tornados, flooding or fires, we are all affected by the nature of our world. God isn’t punishing but rather will use whatever happens for good purposes. Let us all pray for the firefighters and anyone who may be in harms way that they may be safe. In the end it is not about where we live or what we have but who we love.
Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

365 Days of Spirit-Filled Fruits Challenge-Day 109

When I walked into my office yesterday, little did I know the drama that had just unfolded before I had arrived?  A long-standing, top-notch co-worker of mine had taken her stuff and walked out. I don’t know the details of what happened but was told that our operations manager threw her under the bus. Our operations manager has been out of the office due to family issues and healthy issues and put some of her work onto this other co-worker, leaving the co-worker with piles of her own work that cannot get done. It sounds as if the operations manager did not back her up when asked about her excessive workload. Thankfully, our assistant manager went and talked with her and convinced her to come back. It just made me think of how any one of us can experience this kind of betrayal and lack of support. God will always be on our side. He is our rock, the one whom we can lean on always and the one who will always be there. These kinds of things can happen to us so be prepared by asking the Holy Spirit for his fruits so that you will be able to persevere and know that God is on your side.
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

365 Days of Praise Challenge-Day 127

My son has started the process of learning to drive. He's taken his classes, passed the written test and now has his driving permit. He continues with driving time with an instructor and than driving with either myself or Dad for at least 50 hours in the next year. I have been excited for him about it all and I wonder if at some point maybe when he really does get behind the wheel when the worries and fears will start creeping in. So, I am planning ahead which is not like me. LOL. I am going to be prepared for these worries and fears and head them right off with the power of the Holy Spirit and God's Word. I am going to make a list of scriptures and create a prayer card too that I can review and read everyday to help put those worries and fears in their place. Is there something on your horizon that you can prepare for?
Isaiah 41:10 "Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God."
